Yannis Bakos is an associate professor at New York University Stern School of Business. He is also teaching MS in Quantitative Finance Program. Professor Bakos conducts research and teaches graduate courses on the business impact of information technology, and focuses on the Internet in particular. He is currently teaching a course on digital markets and an introduction to information technology and e-commerce.
He co-authored with Professor Hanna Halaburda, Associate Professor of Technology, Operations and Statistics for a research paper published in Communications of the ACM, titled “When Permissioned Blockchains Deliver More Decentralization Than Permissionless”.
