Alexi Savov is an Associate Professor of Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business. Professor Savov's research is in the areas of financial intermediation, macro finance, and asset pricing. He will teach Foundation of Finance in MS in Quantitative Finance program again in the summer of 2023.
Viral V. Acharya is the C.V. Starr Professor of Economics in the Department of Finance at New York University Stern School of Business. He taught Credit Risk in MS in Quantitative Finance program. Professor Acharya was a Deputy Governor at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) during 23rd January 2017 to 23rd July 2019 in charge of Monetary Policy, Financial Markets, Financial Stability, and Research.
Professor Savov and Professor Acharya participated in a panel discussion on March 20, 2023 to discuss the ripple effects of Silicon Valley Bank's failure.
