Despite the complex and challenging employment situation in 2023, graduates of the NYU Shanghai - NYU Stern joint master's programs still achieved impressive results. Having gained solid professional knowledge and skills and rich academic and practical experiences, the Class of 2023, including the first cohort of Master of Science in Marketing and Retail Science (MSMRS) and Master of Science in Organisation Management and Strategy (MSOMS), achieved an excellent placement rate, consistent with previous graduating classes, and earned recognition from many top-tier companies.
The 105 graduates of the Class of 2023 represented four majors: Master of Science in Data Analytics and Business Computing (MSDABC), Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MSQF), Master of Science in Marketing and Retail Science (MSMRS), and Master of Science in Organisation Management and Strategy (MSOMS). The top four industries graduates entered were Financial Services, Technology/Internet, Consulting, and Consumer Goods. Featured employers include Alibaba, ByteDance, China Guangfa Bank, China Merchants Bank, China Universal Asset Management, CICC, CITIC Bank, EY, FNZ, Hanshow, Huatai Securities, Industrial Securities, Kering, Lilith Games, L'Oréal, LVMH, PwC, Shanghai Municipal Big Data Center, Shanghai Stock Exchange, and other industry-leading companies.
